We Love Our Lease available Jag XF – But There’s A New One On The Way
Here at Cars on Demand, we’re big fans of the Jaguar XFR that we have available for short term lease. It’s a gorgeous looking car that combines style and practicality with a powerful engine that can also hold its own on a track or race day.
So we were thrilled when Jaguar unveiled its all new XF at the recent New York motor show. Order books are now open in the UK and Jag have said that the first deliveries will take place towards the end of 2015.
We thought we’d pen a quick round up of some of the new model’s new features and what you can expect to look forward to. And remember, if you’ve not got the cash to place and order for one of your own – talk to us about leasing ours!
Short but spacious
The new XF is, unusually, shorter than the current model by 7mm, but the wheelbase has got larger – by a massive 51mm. This means that Jag have been able to increase rear seat space, which is always a bonus when carting the kids or in laws around. Rear leg room has increased by 15mm and there’s 27mm more room for your hair do.
New, lightweight frame
The new XF borrows the 75% aluminium architecture from its baby brother, the XE. The new version is 190kg lighter, and – combined with an efficient new Ingenium engine – produces lower carbon dioxide emissions of 104 g/km and a combined fuel economy of 71.7mpg on the 2.0d manual. Hardly too bad for a Jag!
Update design
The most noticeable change on the new XF is the new design style for the interior, whilst the exterior has also received a subtle makeover but still looks similar to our current XF. LED daytime running lights and a large front grill give the car a real presence on the road, whilst still looking handsome an in line with the tradition of Jaguars history of luxurious sporting saloons.
